Mandalay’s 2009 accomplishments
In 2009 we only attended 3 AMHR shows but Mandy managed to garner ninth place in AMHR All Star Points for Halter Obstacle and first in Golden Age (over 55) Jumper.
We did attend open shows in Wisconsin with clubs that belong to Wisconsin State Horse Council. For these shows we had to compete against minis, ponies, and big horses. Mandy has a big heart and throws everything she has into her performance. At the first show against a big Friesian, she was a bit rattled by the thundering hooves and his rattling equipment but managed to place second in the class at that show. At the end of summer the Horse Council had a Championship Show for those that obtained one first in a class or two second places. At that show, Mandy placed sixth in pony/mini halter, second in pony/mini Reinsmanship, and first (Champion) in pony/mini Driving.
