2008: Year of our first Grand Champion
2008 became a banner year for Navarre Mini Acres when our Royal Oaks Simply Awesome became National Champion for the Western Country Pleasure Driving class, 32 inch and under, at the AMHR show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mandy does well in 2007-2008 Show Seasons
Royal Oaks Mandalay Bay was shown for the first time during the 2007 show season. Show earned 6th place nationally in AMHR All-Star points for her skills in halter obstacle.
In 2008 Mandy did well in jumper and hunter classes. She placed in the Top 10 at the AMHR National Show in Open Jumper and Golden Age Jumper. She placed 7th out of 12 in Mare Country Pleasure Driving (only her third driving competition). As just a three-year-old, she garnered enough points to be awarded the AMHR Hall of Fame Award for Halter Obstacle.
2007: Awesome takes Top-10 honors in his first year driving
At his first national show, Awesome took 4th place for County Western Pleasure Driving in a class of 21, giving him Top 10 National honors at the AMHR show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
